Whale hunting was band in 1980. But the law allows a number of whales to be killed each year for scientific research. This number is about 1,000. So the Japanese now say they are doing research. But the whalers are not really researching. Instead they are selling the meat. Here are some pictures of the sad and illegal killing of whales. So please don't hunt whales.

Whale population is rapidly dropping because of us. Did you know whales can only reproduce  1% each year? Just to make things worst they can only do that if ALL threats to them are stopped. a Lot of whale hunting is illegal. So don't hunt whales.

What do we do we do with the blubber? We make lip stick with the blubber. After the blubber is collected the poor whales bleeding body is thrown back into the water. So please do not hunt whales.

Hunting whales is a dangerous thing to do. A full grown whale could shatter a whale hunting boat into pieces. So it is bad and dangerous to hunt whales. Please do not hunt whales. For your sake and the whales.

A very rare whale, the blue whale, is the lagest animal that has ever lived. The humpback whale has bumps on its nose. They use this for buting one another. these are just two whales that are rare because of over hunting. So please do not hunt whales.
